Poppy Cottage is a gorgeous mid-terrace sandstone cottage just off the main Whitby road in Loftus. Thoughtfully renovated by Tamsin, it has everything you need for a perfect coastal break.

Curl up beside the crackling log burner with two comfy sofas, sleep in the king-size bed with pure cotton bedding, or relax in the fully fenced rear garden sun trap. Up to 2 medium sized dogs are welcome at a charge of £20.00 and they even get their own memory foam beds under the stairs — plus an outdoor shower for post-beach rinses.
